WURAFADAKA appoints new CEO and inaugurates 5 new advisory board members.
Adedamola Tijesuni-Simire was appointed CEO, alongside new advisory board members which includes; Joseph Adache, Fasilat Jumoke Rafiu, Adetola Freeman, Adeboro Rotimi, George Akande, Osunbayo Paul Taiwo.
Speaking on the rationales behind the appointment, the management said: “The company is fast growing and has more subsidiaries than ever. Each subsidiary must expand at its own pace.
“In order to lead and inspire the company both internally and externally, better management of this new phase that call for different skills was required with the appointment of new advisory board members. This meant that a new CEO was required to guide the company through this particular phase of its life cycle while the former CEO; Simire Omotoyosi Tijesuni, has now become the Chairman of the Board.
“We believe that under this new management, there’s going to be speedy growth and expansion. With the various development and expansion projects on ground, the new CEO and her rich expertise in Business Administration, Human Resources and Project management plans to push further the vision and success of the Company after a decade.
“With the new CEO’s capacity to double the company’s revenue, she will embark on an expansion project to position the Company in more cities within and outside Africa.”
In his remarks, outgoing CEO, Simire Omotoyosi Tijesuni said: “I’m actively present in the growth and coordination of the company and all its subsidiaries and also the activities of the board.”
